The library branch opened in the 15th of February 1983 and is located in Sf. Gheorghe, str. Sporturilor nr. 15, bl. 21., sc. A, ap. 1.

From its fund of 21 000 documents, adult readers can borrow literature and professional books. Young readers are also welcome here, as well as their teachers, parents, grandparents. Here, they will find illustrated books, youth novels, tales and poems for children.

Users can register at the branch library and extend the due date as well. On demand, documents from the fund of the branch can be reserved, and the person who solicited the reservation will be informed about the return date. Users can borrow three documents at a time for an initial period of 14 days.

We have close relationship with the nearby primary school, nursery and kindergarten. We also organize workshop sessions for children introducing them to the library and the way it works.

From november 2018, on a weekly basis we have the Nevesincs workshop for the  kindergartners and schoolchildren and from october 2022 we introduced the Aprócskázó workshop for smaller children, aged 2-4.
