The Library’s Mission

The „Bod Péter” County Library is a public, encyclopedic library, with a judiciary personality and of great regional importance, destined to satisfy the cultural and informational requests and necessities of the multiethnic community of Covasna County. It does not discriminate on a social status, economical, age, sex, political allegiance, religion or nationality basis and it mostly focuses on collection formed of edited documents in Romanian and Hungarian.

The collection conservation function	the conservation of the physical state of the documents the organization of the local Legal Deposit keeping the fund of specific documents, with the aim of protecting the cultural patrimony of Covasna keeping the collection of edited books in Hungarian in post-1989 Romania
4.
